Torchbugs are glowing insects that spawn at night, and will temporarily replace bees in some locations such as Greenhouses. Large Antlers can be found on Deer and Male Elk. I’ve found Regenerate Stamina to be more useful during fights, but Restore/Fortify Stamina potions can be made with Large Antlers and Torchbug Thorax. Bees can also be found in apiaries or around flowers. However, you can find one early beehive on the side of the northeast archway in Riverwood, and with Hearthfire installed, many bees will spawn in the Greenhouse wing of a Homestead in the daytime. Bees can be found in and around beehives which are mainly attached to trees in the forests, so you’ll have to keep an eye out for them. Purple Mountain Flowers grow along the roads, and Fly Amanita is a red mushroom that can be found growing in caves. Restore/Regenerate Stamina potions can be made with Purple Mountain Flower, Fly Amanita, and Bee. Imp Stool is a round orange mushroom found in caves, and Giant's Toe can be found by killing Giants, although they may be difficult to kill at lower levels. This recipe increases the Fortify Health effect to a value of 300 seconds rather than 60 seconds. The Riften Fishery is a good source of fish, as you can find barrels of fish around the building, and fish swimming in the waters. Small fish can be found swimming below the dragonflies that hover over water, and these dragonflies will fly away if you stay near them too long. Apothecary's Satchels will carry the more uncommon and rare ingredients. Try checking the barrels around towns, as they will sometimes contain useful common ingredients. Hawk Feathers can be eaten to cure your own diseases, but will not cure a randomly encountered NPC’s disease, or late stages of vampirism or lycanthropy.
